What it is.
Apple cider vinegar is made in two steps. First, yeast turns the sugar in apple juice into alcohol. Then bacteria turn the alcohol into vinegar.
The cloudy sediment at the bottom of unpasteurised vinegar is the "mother": a web of the bacteria left over from fermentation.
For the tablet, the vinegar is dried into a powder. So there is no smell and no swig, the part that makes many people give up by the second morning.

Liquid vinegar is very acidic, and when you drink it regularly the acid goes straight onto your teeth. The tablet dissolves in a whole cup of warm water, so the drink is far more diluted.
One tablet holds 300 mg of apple cider vinegar; the daily dose of two, 600 mg. The 60-tablet pack lasts a month.
There are four flavours: raspberry, strawberry, blackberry and orange. The composition is the same; only the flavouring changes.

Apple cider vinegar capsules or dissolving tablets?
A capsule is swallowed whole. A dissolving tablet goes into a cup of warm water and becomes a drink. Either way there is apple cider vinegar powder inside: here 600 mg in two tablets.
When do I take it?
As the label says: two tablets in a cup of warm water, about 20 minutes before a meal. At first, start with one tablet until you are used to the fibre in it.
Is it bad for my teeth?
Liquid vinegar is very acidic and should not sit on the enamel for long, which is why it is diluted. The tablet dissolves in a whole cup of water, so the drink is far weaker than a swig of neat vinegar.
What is the "mother" of vinegar?
The cloudy sediment at the bottom of unpasteurised vinegar, left over from fermentation. In the powder it is filtered out.
Can I take it with medication?
If you take medication, including for blood sugar or diuretics, ask your doctor first. With an ulcer or reflux, the acid can irritate.
